Sole Reader is free to use and has no accounts, subscriptions or ads. Some of the links to retailers on the results page and in the guides are affiliate links, including links to Amazon and to specialist running retailers. If you click one and buy something, the retailer may pay us a small commission. The price you pay is the same either way.

The shoe suggestions are chosen by a fixed rule set that looks at your wear map and what you told us about your running. It does not look at commission rates, and no brand or retailer pays to be included or ranked. Where a shoe is listed with a brand link and a retailer link, that is so you can buy wherever suits you.

Affiliate links are marked with a rel="sponsored" attribute so search engines treat them correctly, and the results page carries a short reminder next to the picks.
